Tom Green Co. Sheriff's Office Continues Child Predator Sting Arrests

 

SAN ANGELO – The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office ended 2022 with a continued hard stance regarding crimes against children. 

According to information released by the TGCSO Thursday, acting on information received from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Tom Green County Sheriff Deputies conducted several criminal investigations regarding the Possession of Child Pornography.  During the investigations, probable cause was developed warranting the arrest of three subjects for the offense of Possession of Child Pornography, a third-degree felony punishable by 2-10 years in prison. The three subjects are identified as:   

  • Juelz Arnstead, 19 yoa, arrested 12/27/2022
  • Elvis Smith, 40 yoa, arrested 12/27/2022
  • James Needham, 28 yoa, 12/31/2022

In 2022, Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputies made twenty-one arrests of individuals for sex crimes against children.  Additionally, six charges were filed against individuals for violations regarding the Sex Offenders'  Duty to Register.
