Suspect Indicted for Brutal Stabbing on Old Christoval Rd.

 

SAN ANGELO,TX – Anthony Cobb has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury for stabbing a man in the abdomen.

According to court documents, on April 20th 2021, San Angelo police responded to Shannon Hospital for a stabbing victim.

The victim had a large stab wound to the abdomen and the victim told police during the initial interview that he had gone to pick up a few items from his wife in the area of 5238 Christoval Road.

During this exchange, the victim said that an altercation occurred and this is when Anthony Cobb stabbed him.

The victim was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. Officers were unable to locate Cobb or the victim’s wife at the scene.

The next day, April 21st, the victim confirmed Cobb had stabbed him and on April 25th, Cobb was arrested on an unrelated charge.

Cobb admitted that he stabbed the victim during the altercation.

Anthony Cobb was booked into the TGCDF on April 25th, 2021 and was released on April 27th, 2021 on $50,000.00 bond.
