Reports: Girlfriend Attacks Boyfriend's Pickup Truck with Pipe

SAN ANGELO, TX — A girlfriend of a roofing contractor attacked her boyfriend’s truck with a pipe. That’s the incident police were called to quell just before 2 p.m. Friday afternoon at the intersection of S. Jackson St. and Avenue L.

The girlfriend attacked a 2004 Chevy Silverado and did quite a bit of damage, according to San Angelo Police Department spokeswoman Cpl. Tracy Gonzalez. According to the call report, witnesses reported to police that she was using both her hands and a pipe to exact damage to the Silverado.

A painting contractor also at the scene but not involved said the boyfriend was the roofer for the residential remodel where both were working.

According to Gonzalez, the woman, 19-year-old Kimberly Munoz, has two outstanding county warrants. One of the warrants was for a similar incident where Ms. Munoz attacked her boyfriend’s exact same truck.

Gonzalez said Munoz was arrested for the two outstanding warrants. Police were not sure if the boyfriend was going to press additional charges.

There were no reported injuries and no ambulances were at the scene. Both the San Angelo Police Department and Angelo State University Police responded to the scene.
