Charges Dropped Against Grape Creek Athletic Director

 

SAN ANGELO, TX-- Charges of Assault/Family Violence against Grape Creek Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Justin Mueller have been dropped.

"The Grape Creek Independent School District received notification that the charges against Coach Mueller have been dropped," Superintendent Angie Smetana said in a statement.

The County Attorney's office confirmed this to San Angelo LIVE!, citing a meeting in which the charges were discussed.

According to the attorney's office, witness and victim statements did not line up.

We are waiting to see what his job status is.

Mueller was arrested back on Dec. 15, 2017.
