Police Investigate Murder in Big Spring

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Big Spring police responded to a “shots fired” report at 2 p.m. Thursday and found a 34-year-old man dead inside a residence in the 1600 block of Settles.

Big Spring police stated their initial investigation determined that an altercation happened between two men.

Justice of the Peace Fitzgibbons pronounced Donald McIntosh dead at 2:35 p.m.

Police found the suspected assailant, Calvin Jacob Lawson, also 34, walking away from the house.

Police arrested Lawson for outstanding warrants and murder charges are pending. Police are also obtaining warrants to search the residence. The JP ordered an autopsy of McIntosh’s body.
