Meth, Marijuana, Money and Guns: SAPD Takes Down Suspects on Jones Street

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Detectives with the San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes Division (SCD) along with members of the Department’s Special Weapons And Tactics Team (SWAT) and K-9 Unit executed a Search and Arrest Warrant at a residence in the 700 block of Jones Street.

The warrant, issued by Justice of the Peace Fred Buck, named 27-year-old Adriana Marie Cruz to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine at the residence.

Cruz was located at the residence along with 26-year-old Jacob Anthony Gonzales and 27-year-old Jason Michael Lujan.

Pursuant to the field investigation and search of the residence, Investigators located and seized approximately four (4) ounces of suspected methamphetamine, four (4) firearms, a quantity of marijuana, paraphernalia associated with narcotics trafficking, and approximately $3,600 in U.S. Currency.

Cruz and Gonzales were arrested for First Degree Felony Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1.  Lujan was arrested for State Jail Felony Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1.  The trio was transported to the Tom Green County Jail without incident.

Members of the Department’s Patrol and Criminal Investigations Division and The Center for Tactical Medicine assisted with today’s operation.
