Pair of Louisiana Murder Suspects Nabbed in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A couple wanted for murdering a Shreveport woman have been arrested in San Angelo.  

Just before 2 a.m., Officials with DPS Texas Rangers contacted San Angelo Police about the two murder suspects, who were believed to be enroute to San Angelo driving a stolen gold-colored 2005 Honda Accord that belonged to the murder victim.

A short time later, members of the Department’s Patrol Division and K-9 Unit met with members of the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Department, Texas Rangers, and U.S. Marshals Service in an effort to apprehend Roy Jemane Narcisse, 25, of Alexandria, Louisiana, and Kiana Deraneka Williams, 25, of Ville Platte, Louisiana.    

According to San Angelo Police, The apprehension team located the vehicle, which was occupied by Narcisse and Williams, in the parking lot of the Quality Inn, 4613 S. Jackson Street.  Narcisse was treated at the scene by San Angelo Fire Department Medics for minor cuts to his arms, which he received during his extraction from the vehicle.

The couple is accused of stabbing 82-year-old Kathleen Creech Cates Tuesday night in her Shreveport home.  

According to Shreveport Police, Williams and Narcisse were last seen driving Cate’s 2005 Honda Accord.  

The couple was booked into the Tom Green County Jail and will be extradited to Caddo Parish, Louisiana where Shreveport is located.
