Abilene Man Arrested After Violating Sex Offender Probation

ABILINE, TX – An Abilene man is behind bars yet again after violating the terms of his probation for sexually assaulting a child.

Alvin Hough, 25, was booked into the Taylor County Jail on Tuesday.

Hough was previously convicted on four counts of sexual assault of a child, according to a local news source.

Taylor County deputies said they received a call about a runaway 14-year-old girl. Following the investigation, it was determined that Hough was the victim’s boyfriend and had stayed in constant communication with the minor. Hough also decided the victim would live with him. According to court documents, Hough acknowledged he had sex with a person under the age of 17 years old.

Hough was issued probation for the charge in 2012.

However, on June 3 of this year, Hough was suspected of breaking the terms of his probation, resulting in the Taylor County District Attorney’s Office filing a motion to revoke. Hough admitted the violation was for communicating with a 15-year-old.

He remains in Taylor County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
