Drugs, Guns and Money Found During Traffic Stop in North San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A San Angelo man is facing multiple felony charges following a traffic stop on the north side of San Angelo, Saturday night. San Angelo Police Department (SAPD) officers stopped a 2004 Lincoln Continental driven by 54-year-old Michael A. Green of San Angelo near the intersection of W. 34th and N. Chadbourne around 10 p.m. Saturday evening.

Green was initially arrested on an outstanding warrant for parole violation.  During a search, officers found a small plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine and approximately $6,900 in cash. 

Officers also found paraphernalia consistent with trafficking illegal narcotics, specifically methamphetamine, and two firearms.  One of the firearms was confirmed to have been stolen out of San Antonio.

Green was taken to the Tom Green County Jail and charged with First Degree Felony Manufacture of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a firearm by a Felon, and violating parole.
