SAN ANGELO, TEXAS -- Over the weekend, the San Angelo Police Department (SAPD) officers arrested 67 individuals and released 22 inmates of the Tom Green County Jail.
One of the 67 individuals arrested was Francisco Javier Lara-Rangel. Lara-Rangel was booked and charged with Criminal Negligent Homicide. According to court documents, Lara-Rangel is charged with the murder of another individual by "driving dangerously at a high rate of speed or cutting [the driver of another vehicle] off or racing on a public highway." The event occurred in November of 2016.
Ryan Markell Dantzler was also arrested over the weekend. He was booked and charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault.
Over the weekend the jail saw an increase in individuals charged with CPF (36 charges), Possession of Marijuana (15 charges), Public Intoxication (9 charges), Assault Causes Bodily Injury (8 charges), Possession of a Controlled Substance (7 charges), Driving with License Invalid (7 charges), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (6 charges), and Driving While Intoxication (5 charges).
