Lubbock Police Investigate Weekend Homicide

SAN ANGELO, TX - Lubbock Police are investigating a homicide after finding a body in a hotel parking lot over the weekend.

Lubbock Police said, at approximately 9:40 a.m. Sunday morning, they received a call from a person who drove through the parking lot at the Carriage House Inn and Suites.

"The caller advised he saw a male lying on the ground in the back parking lot," officials said. "When officers arrived, they found a deceased male."

Because of the nature of the death, homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate. They canvassed the area and questioned people staying at the Carriage House.
