Four Odessa Teens Arrested for Three Counts of Aggravated RobberyPress Release
ODESSA, TX- Odessa law enforcement arrested four teens involved in multiple robberies over the last two weeks.
Newswest 9 reported that Aaron Llanez, 17, Edward Hernandez, 17, Jesse Castillo, 17 and Alec Kirkland, 18, have all been charged with three counts of engaging in organized crime activity.
On Dec. 20, Odessa police responded to an aggravated robbery at the 7-Eleven on Golder Ave., according to the local affiliate.
Further investigation revealed that unknown male subjects robbed the store clerk at gunpoint.
Two weeks later, another robbery happened at the 7-Eleven on Andrews Highway, and the following day at the Stripes on Highway 191.
Newswest 9 reported that Llanez, Hernandez, Castillo, and Kirkland were working together to perform the robberies.
Warrants were later obtained for all four men.
The source reported Castillo and Kirkland were behind bars in Midland County on unrelated charges, and Llanez and Hernandez are in custody at the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
Police told Newswest 9 more felony charges are expected for all four of the men.
