Local Law Enforcement Execute 30 Warrant Arrests in 48 Hours

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - Local law enforcement in San Angelo arrested 40 people in the past 48 hours. Including ordering several gambling locations to cease and desist (see here), law enforcement officers executed 30 warrant arrests.

Some individuals had up to seven and eight outstanding warrants, and two arrestees had new complaints as well as outstanding warrants.

Some of the outstanding warrant violations included tampering with a government record, forgery, parole violation, drugs, assault, family violence, motor vehicle offenses, issuance of bad checks and theft.

Additionally, 11 people were arrested on new complaints. The new complaints consisted of the following:

  • Driving with Invalid License: 1
  • Violation of Bond/Prot. Order: 1
  • DWI: 1
  • Possession of Marijuana: 3
  • Public Intoxication: 1
  • Criminal Mischief Imp/Int Pub Service: 1
  • Criminal Trespass: 2
  • Theft: 1
  • Possession of Controlled Substance: 3
  • Bench Warrant: 1
  • Assault Causes Bodily Injury: 2
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: 1
