"This offender, who was recently classified as an adult, was previously detained in the Tom Green County Juvenile Justice Center following his arrest in connection to the March 26, 2016 murders of 16-year-old Zane Lopez and 17-year-old Juan Guerrero, which occurred in the 1100 block of E. 22nd St," said Officer Tracy Gonzalez, public information officer for the San Angelo Police Department.

Rodriguez is one of several people arrested in this case.

Clarification: The Tom Green County Jail confirmed that Odyssey, the Booking and Release records show Rodriguez with a date of birth of 4/25/1999, but he has an alias date of birth of 4/25/2000. When asked why that would occur, an official said a judge certified a juvenile arrest as an adult.
