Police Seek Help Locating 15-Year-Old Girl Missing Since Jan. 21

A 15-year-old girl who is believed to have run away on Jan. 21 is still missing, police report.

Briana Esquivel was last seen in her bedroom in the 2200 block of Chesnut around 4:30 a.m. by her mother, but by 7:30 a.m., all that was left was a note asking her mother not to worry. She took with her a few articles of clothing, her school bag and some make-up, her mother said.

Despite following up on several leads, nothing has panned out locally, police reported on Monday afternoon. Esquivel has now been registered with the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children.
