Jim Bass Burglar Escapes

The man arrested last night in connection to an attempted burglary at Jim Bass Ford has escaped from the hospital and is being sought by San Angelo Police patrol officers.

Scanner traffic at around 7:25 p.m. indicated that police were searching for a patient, who still had IVs in his arms. No description of what the man was wearing or where he was running was mentioned over the scanner.

The IVs were found by hospital staff in the parking lot, the scanner said. The man was brought to the hospital by ambulance last night after being caught at the dealership, possibly due to a diabetic attack.

Several incoming phone calls to the man's room were reported over the scanner, however it was not mentioned whether any of those phone calls pertained to his escape.

Whose day was it to watch him? They need to release his name now so we'll know whom to look for.
Connected to you? So many questions, why was he left alone? Why wasn't a police officer stationed at the door? Haha, it's funny but it's sad at the same time. Somebody may lose his job over this one. He is quite the elusive one!
He believes he shouldn't be held accountable for his actions, and the courts will most likely do very little to disprove this belief. In a better society these people do not exist.
Thought this guy had learned his lesson but guess not. He has several kids to take care of. Use to be in the oilfield but has been in and out of trouble his whole life. With this one even if they had someone guarding the door he'd go out a window. He has family here but he's smart enough not to go to them. If he's caught maybe his prison sentence will be longer this time.
Hopefully after these shenanigans and when he's caught again, he will go straight to an iron bar cell regardless whether he needs medical attention or not.
I am glad to see that this guy although he makes some decisions with what i consider negative consequences he does not give up easily. Hes got drive. Way to keep the police on their toes mr. Bishop. I am sure that three hots and a cot will be waiting for you when you run out of resources that you most likely aquired by means that will not allow those resources to last for long. Or someone you know needs some money and turns you in.
