Crash Victim Hit in Incoming Traffic

A minor two-vehicle accident on Sherwood Way and Sunset Dr. in front of the Dry Clean Super Center in San Angelo had an interesting twist.  

The collision occurred at 6:57 p.m. when a westbound white crew cab F-250 Ford pickup operated by Halliburton rear-ended a silver GMC Yukon XL.

The driver of the Yukon exited his vehicle to inspect the damage, and was subsequently hit by a third vehicle, a green Dodge pickup. The Yukon driver was transported to Shannon Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Traffic was congested for at least one-quarter mile in each direction for approximately an hour as San Angelo Police and emergency personnel cleared the area.
