WATCH: Driver Injured in Rollover Crash on FM2288 at Potts Creek

 

SAN ANGELO  – The driver of a white Chevrolet pickup was hospitalized following a rollover crash on a rain soaked FM-2288 at Potts Creek west of San Angelo Tuesday afternoon.  

According to reporters on the scene, a San Angelo Fire Department ambulance was on the scene of the crash just west of the Highland Range subdivision by San Angelo State Park where FM-2288 crosses Potts Creek.

Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers were on scene investigating the cause of the crash.  

The unidentified driver can be seen on a stretcher being loaded into the ambulance.  

The cause of the crash has not been released.  The roadway was slick because of recent rains.  It appears the pickup driver was traveling a highway speeds and failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.  

The pickup left the roadway and rolled a few times landing on the passenger side.
