WATCH: Crash Blocks Traffic on Knickerbocker Rd. Thursday Afternoon

SAN ANGELO – A Chevrolet Pickup and a Frontier Fiber Optics work truck crashed at the intersection of Knickerbocker Rd. and Loop 306 Thursday afternoon blocking westbound traffic for a short time.

Reporters on the scene say it appears the older model Chevrolet pickup crashed into the right rear of the Fiber Optics work truck at the intersection.

Watch video from the scene below:

The crash caused a spill at the intersection and San Angelo Police blocked westbound traffic on Knickerbocker Rd. while the spill was cleaned up.

San Angelo Police sent out a Nixle alert advising motorists to avoid the area as the west bound lanes were blocked and being diverted to the Loop 306 frontage road.

Radio communications indicate the crash was a minor, meaning there were no serious injuries.  The roadway was cleared and traffic returned to normal around 3:15 p.m.
