WATCH: Stove Fire Threatens College Hills Home

 

SAN ANGELO – San Angelo Firefighters responded to a structure fire call in the 2400 block of Baylor Ave. Wednesday afternoon where a stove was actively on fire and threatening the home. 

According to communications, the call came in around 2:30 p.m. as an active structure fire.  SAFD units were dispatched to the 2400 block of Baylor.  The caller said the oven was actively engulfed in flames when they called the fire department.

Firefighters arrived on scene and quickly assessed the situation.  When reporters arrived a short time later, it appeared the fire was under control.

Reporters on the scene say no one was injured and there was no visible smoke or flames.  

Firefighters left the scene a short time later.
