Crash Report Identifies Other Passengers in Gruesome Crash on Concho and Abe

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Texas Department of Public Safety released a report on the fatality crash that occurred at South Abe and Concho on April 20.

According to the preliminary crash investigation, San Angelo Police Department initiated a pursuit with the Dodge Ram Pickup, driven by Daniel Nakeia Diaz, 23. Diaz failed to stop at the red light at the intersection and was struck by a Chevy Equinox.

The report released the names of all the occupants in involved vehicles. There were three passengers in the pickup with Diaz; Casey Raye Reel, 20, Lucio Richard Solano, 22, and Gaiden Lynn Crelia, 21.

Gaiden Lynn Crelia was pronounced dead at the scene by Judge J.P. McGuire.

Casey Raye Reel was arrested on April 20 for unauthorized use of vehicle and has not yet been released.

No update on Lucio Solano was available at this time.
