Three Car Accident on Knickerbocker Sends One to the Hospital

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Today, at the intersection of Knickerbocker Road and Austin Street a three car accident sent one to the hospital.

According to Officer Bradshaw with the San Angelo Police Department, two cars were traveling west-bound on Knickerbocker Road, a white Toyota Camry and a Silver Nissan Xterra. The white Toyota made an unsafe lane change from the middle lane to the right lane.

The unsafe lane change resulted in the Camry colliding with the rear left panel of the Xterra, which resulted in the Xterra driver losing control and colliding with a green Honda Civic sitting in the light on Austin Street.

The driver of the Toyota Camry was cited for unsafe lane change. One person was sent to Shannon Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
