Jeep Rides Up Tree and Flips

SAN ANGELO, TX — In the 700 block of Koberlin, a driver of a Jeep was distracted and ended up driving up the side of a tree. Then the Jeep came down and rolled over.

According to San Angelo police, the driver admitted to police that he was reaching for his cell phone, or something, and drove off the roadway as he was headed westbound on Koberlin.

Police said he suffered minor cuts and bruises and was wearing his seatbelt.

Police issued the driver a citation for failure to control speed.
