Honda Civic Hit So Hard that its Airbags Deployed on Sherwood Way

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Two cars collided on Sherwood Way at around 10:30 p.m. Friday night. One person was rushed to the hospital from injuries possibly obtained during her car’s airbag deployment.

According to San Angelo police, a GMC Sierra was eastbound on Sherwood Way when a Honda Civic pulled out of a parking lot near the Outback Steakhouse. The two vehicles collided in the middle of the major thoroughfare.

The police investigation is pending the interview with the Honda Civic driver who is at the hospital. So far, police said, it appears that the Civic driver failed to yield the right of way when pulling out of a private drive.
