Silverado Destroyed in Duel with Dually

SAN ANGELO, TX — A Chevrolet Silverado was destroyed Friday morning when its driver failed to yield the right-of-way to traffic on N. Bryant Blvd.

According to San Angelo police, the Silverado driver was westbound on 14th Street, attempting to cross Bryant. The truck entered the southbound lanes and collided with a Dodge dually pickup towing a trailer. The result is in the cover photo of this story.

The Dodge dually and trailer sustained minor damage, and by the time we got there, its driver had already continued on its journey south.

Two witnesses came forward to help police with the investigation. Police determined the Chevy didn’t have a green light. Its driver was cited accordingly. There were no injuries and the crash happened just after 10:30 a.m.
