Jeep Driver Rolls Avoiding a Ford F-150

SAN ANGELO, TX — A Jeep Cherokee rolled over on N. Bryant Blvd. early Monday afternoon after its driver took evasive action to avoid a bigger catastrophe.

According to the San Angelo police, the driver was piloting his Jeep northbound on Bryant passing near the 4th Street intersection. Meanwhile, the driver of a white Ford F-150 pickup truck was southbound but attempting to make a left turn into a business called Border States. To make that turn, the truck had to cross five northbound lanes.

The Jeep driver saw the truck and initiated evasive maneuvers, jinking right to avoid what was, in reality, an inevitable collision with the white truck.

The two vehicles collided, and the force of the hit sent the Jeep into a rolling crash onto the eastern curb.

One person was injured, presumably the driver of the Jeep, and transported to Shannon.

Police were still investigating the crash and had not issued citations when we left the scene.
