Jaws-of-Life Used to Save Woman Trapped in Chevy Malibu

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Fire Department rescued an occupant of a white Chevrolet Malibu this afternoon after a crash between two passenger cars on N. Chadbourne St. and 43rd St.

According to San Angelo police, the blue passenger car was southbound on Chadbourne when the white Malibu pulled out onto Chadbourne in front of the blue car.

The blue car collided with the Malibu.

The blue car had one uninjured occupant, but the white car had two occupants. One of the white car’s occupants was rescued using the Jaws-of-Life and rushed to Shannon Medical Center. He condition was unknown at the scene.

Police said the investigation thus far hasn't led to any citations, but they are expected. The crash happened just after 4 p.m.
