Train Derails in Middle of Abilene

 

ABILENE, TX — According to the Abilene Police Department, a train derailed in the east side of Abilene. No injuries were reported. Police stated that T&P Lane at Railroad Crossing will be closed for two days while crews clean up the wreckage.

The exact location of the derailment:

The crossing location at 200 T&P Lane is the Union Pacific rail line, the east-west train thoroughfare through Abilene. The derailment happened early Tuesday morning at around 4 a.m.
