Chevy Silverado Mangled in Rear-end Crash with Dodge Ram on Labor Day.

SAN ANGELO, TX-- The San Angelo Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Monday evening at the intersection of Johnson and Sherwood way.

According to police, a blue Chevrolet Silverado "failed to control speed" when coming to the intersection's stoplight. The Silverado then struck the back of a stopped Dodge Ram. The force of the collision sent the Dodge around the corner, on to Johnson.

An ambulance arrived on scene but officer Jonathan Welch, the responding officer, said no one was injured severely.

Officer Welch said the driver of the Silverado received a citation for failure to control speed and that was the only citation issued for the crash.
