New Car Destroyed in Bout of Chevy-on-Chevy Violence on Caddo Street

SAN ANGELO, TX — The driver of a Chevrolet Cruze with dealer plates still attached may have to get a new car after running a stop light on Caddo St. where Jefferson St. intersects it.

According to San Angelo police, a white Chevrolet Cruze was eastbound on Caddo, the frontage road for the Houston Harte Expy.. and disregarded a red light.

Meanwhile a Chevrolet Tahoe was southbound crossing Caddo on Jefferson and could not avoid being hit by the Cruze.

The Cruze appeared to be a late model and still had dealer plates.

Police said they issued two citations to the driver of the Cruze. One ticket was for disregarding the red light. Another was issued for not having a driver’s license.

The driver of the Tahoe was rushed to Shannon Medical Center with what were likely minor injuries, police said.
