An Unprotected Left Turn Sends One Car Rolling On Knickerbocker

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Shortly after 3:30 this afternoon, two cars collided near the intersection of Knickerbocker and the frontage road of Loop 306. 

Officer Kvittem, with the San Angelo Police Department, stated that according to a witness, a black Charger headed eastbound attempted to make an unprotected left turn when it collided with a white Jeep headed westbound on Knickerbocker. 

The collision caused the Jeep to roll.

The driver of the Dodge Charger was taken to Community Medical Center for non-incapacitating injuries. The driver of the Jeep came out of the accident unscathed. 

Citations are currently pending further investigation as Officer Kvittem must speak with the driver of the Dodge. 

A Nixle Alert, sent out by the police department, has asked drivers to avoid the area for an hour until the road can be cleared of the accident.
