Juvenile Causes Crash After Disregarding a Stop Sign

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Just before 8 a.m., a 17-year-old female driving a black Suburban disregarded a stop sign and crashed into a white Chevy Trac SUV at the intersection of Ave. J and South Jackson St.

According to the investigating Officer Bryan Bylsma, the Suburban was southbound on South Jackson St. and the driver did not see the stop sign.  The Suburban entered the intersection and hit the Chevy Trac on the rear driver’s side. 

The driver of the Chevy Trac was transported by ambulance to Shannon Medical Center with minor injuries.

Officer Bylsma said the driver of the Suburban was cited for failure to obey the stop sign.
