Comanche Woman Ejected During Rollover Crash

 

COMANCHE COUNTY -- A Comanche woman is dead after she was ejected from her vehicle during a rollover crash shortly after 3 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Dora Gutiererez-Ballard, 44, was traveling west on U.S. 67 when she lost control of her 2000 Isuzu Amigo, about 6 miles west of Comanche, a Department of Public Safety crash report stated. 

The Isuzu Amigo began to swerve back and forth, crossed into the median and then rolled. When the vehicle rolled, Gutiererez-Ballard was ejected from the vehicle. She was not wearing her seatbelt. Gutiererez-Ballard was pronounced dead on the scene.

The body of Gutiererez-Ballard was taken to Heartland Funeral Home in Comanche.

The road conditions were clear and dry at the time of the crash.

​DPS states the crash is still under investigation.
