Another Midland Man Dead After Failing To Yield Right of Way

REEVES COUNTY, TX – A second Midland man was killed in a vehicle accident this week after he failed to yield the right of way. Michael D. Denison, 52, was waiting to turn onto oncoming traffic at the intersection of County Road 402 and Highway 285 when the crash occurred.

According to a local news source, Denison had an obstructed view of oncoming traffic which caused him to collided with Donald W. Coburn, 70, of Odessa. Coburn was transported to Reeves County Hospital, his condition is unknown. Denison was pronounced dead at the scene.

Denison was traveling in a 2012 Ford F-550 pickup and Coburn was traveling in a 2013 Peterbuilt truck tractor. The crashed occurred on Monday at approximately 2:15 p.m.
