Juvenile Passenger Dies in Major Big Spring Crash

 

BIG SPRING, TX- Yesterday morning, a juvenile died in a  crash after sustaining major injuries.

At approximately 7:06 A.M., Big Spring Police Department officers and Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the intersection of 4th and Benton in reference to a major vehicle crash involving a 2001 Silver Dodge Stratus and a 2012 White International Durastar.

The adult female driver and juvenile female passenger of the 2001 Dodge Stratus were transported to Scenic Mountain Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained. The juvenile female was in critical condition as a result of the crash.

The Big Spring Police Department announced yesterday afternoon that the juvenile passed away from those injuries.

The Justice of the Peace Bennie Green pronounced the time of death at 11:48 a.m. The Big Spring Police Department said this is an active investigation, but not other information is available at this time.
