Pedestrian Runs into Traffic on Arden, Gets Hit by Truck

SAN ANGELO, TX - At around 7 p.m tonight a pedestrian was struck by a white GMC 2500 truck at the intersection of Glenna St and Arden Rd. 

A San Angelo Police officer on scene said the dispatch call was for a major motor vehicle accident, but was later updated to a minor accident.   

The officer said the pedestrian had no right of way and basically "bolted" into on oming traffic. There were no signs of any serious body injuries for the pedestrian, but the pedestrian was transported to the hospital for a check-up.

Police will follow-up with the pedestrian to get more information on the incident.
