TxDOT Driver Disregards Red Light, Causes Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Before noon today, San Angelo Police responded to a crash on South Jackson and Bryant for a crash involving a TxDOT vehicle and a red pickup.

Officer Zachary Villarreal said the driver of the TxDOT vehicle was traveling northbound on South Bryant, disregarded a red light, and “T-boned” the driver of a red truck traveling eastbound on South Jackson.

The driver of the red pickup was transported to Shannon Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries, and the driver of the TxDOT vehicle received a citation for disregarding the red light.
