Six People Affected by Another Fail-to-Yield Crash

SAN ANGELO, TX – This afternoon, just before 3 p.m., a Honda and a Ford collided on 19th St. and Chadbourne because of another fail-to-yield incident.

The San Angelo Police officer at the scene said the driver of the black Honda was traveling eastbound on 19th St, and the white Ford was traveling westbound. The Ford, attempting to turn south on Chadbourne, failed to yield at the intersection light and collided with the Honda.

One person was injured, but the officer was not sure of the severity of injuries at the time. He said he has to do a follow-up investigation at the hospital. He did mention though that six people were involved in the crash. There were three people in each vehicle.

The officer mentioned one of the passengers in the Ford ran away from the scene before police arrived, but said that doesn’t really affect the investigation.

He added that the driver of the Ford will get a citation for failure to yield at the light.
