Eldorado Driver Gets a Whataburger Then Crashes

 

A Ford Explorer and Dodge Avenger collided in the 4600 block of Knickerbocker this afternoon after an Eldorado woman pulled out from Whataburger.

At approximately 1:40 p.m., San Angelo Police were dispatched to the area for a major crash. Officer Palmer said the driver of the red Ford Explorer, who was from Eldorado, was pulling out of Whataburger. At the same time, there was a vehicle pulling into the parking lot. She thought she had the clear, and pulled out onto Knickerbocker to make a left turn.

However, the driver crashed into a blue Dodge Avenger.

Officer Palmer said the driver of the Dodge was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries. The driver from Eldorado was cited for failure to yield from a private drive.
