Two-Car Crash on Sherwood Sends One to Hospital

At approximately noon today, in the 2900 block of Sherwood Way, a Silver Ram 1500 and a Black Chevy Impala collided.

At this time, the turning lanes and inside lane are closed. One lane traveling east and west is open to traffic.

Thus far, one person has been sent to the hospital with unknown injuries.

More information will be updated when made available.

UPDATE:

According to San Angelo Police Officer Mike Gesch, the black Impala was exiting a private drive to turn left onto Sherwood Way while the silver Dodge truck was turning left at the stop sign onto Sherwood Way as well. When both vehicles turned, they crashed into each other.

Officer Gesch cannot determine if either vehicle failed to yield to the right-a-way to the traffic on Sherwood Way; therefore, no citations were given.

The passenger of the black Impala went to Shannon Hospital via ambulance on scene, but injuries are still unknown at this time.
