Three Transported to Hospital in Evening Crash, Driver Possibly Fled

 

Three people have been sent to the hospital in a crash involving a red Toyota Tacoma and a brown four-door sedan at 6th St. and Bryant under the Houston Harte overpass. 

The crash occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m., at least one teenage boy appears to have been injured in the wreck. 

San Angelo police, Ladder 1 and medics are tending the scene. 

Update 9:40 p.m.

The four-door sedan has been identified as a Chrysler 300. Witnesses said that they saw people flee from the vehicle after the crash, possibly the driver, however a man standing nearby says he was the driver.

Two of the injured persons have been taken to Community. Police are awaiting word from Community as to the severity of the injuries sustained by one of the occupants of the Tacoma.

Update 10:04 p.m.

No serious injuries have been reported as a result of the crash and it doesn't appear it will be investigated as a hit and run. Home Motors is on the way to clear the scene.
