All Parties Hospitalized in Armstrong and 44th St. Crash

A traffic accident at 44th and Armstrong Streets has slowed traffic, where a maroon Dodge Ram 1500 crewcab and a GMC Acadia have collided in the intersection.

Armstrong is down to one northbound lane as a result of the crash, while southbound traffic is being diverted to 44th St.

Two ambulances left the scene of the crash carrying all involved parties. No word has yet been given as to the seriousness of their injuries.

The investigating officer on scene said that a woman was driving the GMC with a juvenile passenger, traveling southbound and the male driver of the Dodge was driving on a perpendicular road, where a stop sign is located. The crash occurred at the intersection.

Because all parties have been taken to the hospital, the investigation will continue when the drivers' statements are obtained. Whether or not the driver of the Dodge pulled out in front of the Acadia has not been determined.
