White Ford F-150 Driver Slams into Party Depot Customer on North Bell Street

One person was sent to the hospital with minor injuries when a southbound white F-150 collided into the rear of a stopped southbound green Ford Taurus that was waiting to turn into Winger's Party Depot on North Bell Street. The F-150's impact to the Ford Taurus knocked the Taurus into the northbound lane just in time to be struck by a northbound white/black Honda Accord.

North Bell Street near the intersection of East Harris Avenue was blocked for just under an hour Saturday night starting at 10:15 p.m. while crash crews cleared the roadway.

The San Angelo police said that the F-150 driver gets a citation for Failure to Control Speed.

I'm all for these drive-thru party barns... What lazy American DOESN'T like being able to go out and get something without having to leave the comfort of their vehicle. However, they need to do something about their entrances. The one on Chadbourne? Horrible - more accidents waiting to happen. I've seen that line WAY too long. The one on Sherwood? Just as bad. These are major streets, lots of traffic... and a bunch of lazy Americans would rather wait in line to drive through the party barn than get their asses out and walk into Wal Mart or somewhere for a 30-pack of Tecate. Just sayin'.
