The Crash at MLK and 29th Street Had No Witness

A white Ford Ranger Pickup headed north on Martin Luther King Blvd. Meanwhile, there was an eastbound 1980s model Chevrolet pickup on 29th Street. One of the drivers ran a red light and they crashed into one another.

The Chevy pickup was in the turning lane to turn left on MLK. “It’s clear they hit each other, but it’s not clear who was at fault. Both of them indicted that they had a green light,” said investigating San Angelo Police Officer Josh Loudermilk.

“There were no witnesses, no telling what happened,” he said. Loudermilk observed the traffic lights at that intersection to be functioning properly. All of the witnesses indicated that they heard the crash, but no one saw it.

Both drivers were transported via ambulance to the hospital with minor injuries.
