The Tom Green County jail saw 27 inmates walk through their doors on Tuesday, four of which had been arrested for assault charges, three for marijuana possession and one for aggravated sexual asault of a child.
Two additional inmates were booked on theft charges, as well as two for DWI and two for evading arrest. There was also one count of PI and one credit/debit card abuse on Tuesday.
Thirty-eight inmates were released fromt the jail.
