White Toyota Tundra Fails to Negotiate Curve at South Red Creek and SH 208

A white mid-2000s model Toyota Tundra was involved in a single vehicle accident at the curve near South Red Creek on SH 208 at approximately 4 p.m.

The driver survived but was transported by ambulance to the hospital with injuries.

From the scene, it appeared that the driver failed to negotiate the turn, ran into a bar ditch, through a rancher's fence, and tumbled several times before ending up back on the highway.

SH 208 was initially closed, then re-opened with one lane of traffic.

Responding to the scene were the Tom Green County Sheriff's Department, Texas DPS, and the Quail Valley Volunteer Fire Department, and San Angelo Fire Department EMS.
