Drug Possession and Warrant Arrests High Wednesday

Thirty-seven inmates were booked into the Tom Green County Jail Wednesday, among them seven arrested for active warrants. The bookings report shows seven drug possession charges and six pot possession charges, as wel as seven DWIs.

Theft was comparatively low, with a total of four charges, and there was one credit card abuse charge and one assault. 

Thirty-one inmates were released on Wednesday.

I'll have to ask about that. I'll get on that Monday and let you know what I find out. If it's feasible, I'd be glad to add it to the daily crime reports, but I'm not sure how readily available that information is.
