Warrants, Drugs and Theft Account for Tuesday Arrests

There were 34 inmates booked into the Tom Green County Jail Tuesday, and 10 of them were arrested for one or more warrants. Drug possession--often in conjunction with warrants or other charges--was also high on Tuesday, with seven charges apiece for both pot and other drugs on the inmate bookings report. 

Theft went back up, accounting six charges, and DWI, PI and speeding all saw two arrests. There was also one reckless driver, one inmate in possession of a switchblade, and one arson charge on the report. One individual was arrested on four counts of issuing a bad check.

Thirty inmates were released on Tuesday.
