Theft High on Thursday...Again

Once again, theft topped the list on Thursday as the number one charge on the inmate bookings report. 

Out of 25 inmates booked into Tom Green County Jail, there were seven theft charges, some of which were tied to warrants, others to individuals who had more than one charge of the crime against them.

Possession, assault and DWI's all led to three arrests Thursday; there were also two evading arrests, one possession of pot. one public intoxication and one cruelty to a non-livestock animal. 

Thirty-four inmates were released on Thursday.
