Pot and Drunk Driving Account for More Arrests Friday

Potheads and drunk drivers were on the loose on Friday, accounting for four charges each of the 26 booked into Tom Green County Jail.

Theft remained relatively low, with only two charges and an additional robbery, and possession of other drugs and assault charges accounted for an additional two arrests apiece.

There was one inmate booked for hindering apprehension, one for reckless driving, and one public intoxication, wrapping up a day with a wide spread of crimes committed.

A total of 41 inmates were released from the jail on Friday.
